In 1981, I started training with Master Jong Bok Park in New Britain, CT at Parks Tae Kwon Do School. In 1989 opened Yousef Tae Kwon Do School in New Britain, CT. In 1990 started training under Grand Master Moo Yong Lee from East Hartford, CT. I have competed in many Martial Arts tournaments; State and National levels for 17 years. In 1997, I won the gold medal at the U.S Seniors National in San Jose, CA, and 1999 won the silver medal in Daytona Beach, FL. I have traveled with Grand Master Lee with the U.S team in 1998 to Mexico and in 1999 to Korea. I am a national referee and also serve as Connecticut team coach in many national tournaments.
